Physiotherapist
Born in South Africa, I pursued my education in New Zealand and obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Otago in 2020. I then began my career as a physiotherapist in the sunny Bay of Plenty, working in a private practice.
My passion for physiotherapy stems from my personal experiences as an athlete, having faced and overcome numerous injuries throughout my swimming and football endeavours. The exceptional physiotherapists who helped me recover and become a stronger athlete inspired me to pursue a career in the field, combining my love for sports and wellness with the opportunity to assist others on their recovery journeys.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with premier and national league football teams across New Zealand, as well as international teams. This has provided me with extensive knowledge and expertise in treating various acute, post-operative, and sports-related injuries. My approach combines manual therapy and personalized exercise prescription, empowering patients to achieve their functional and sporting goals while providing support and encouragement along the way.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, indulging in outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, tramping, and open water swimming, making the most of the beautiful surroundings and sunshine in Tauranga.
I am thrilled to be part of the Bespoke team and committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. Whether you’re striving to recover from an injury or aiming to optimize your performance, I look forward to supporting you on your journey to better health and well-being.
